Metro events Oct. 6 to 10: Take to the skies

 

As thousands of geese, ducks and other birds fly south for the winter, don't run afoul of your birdwatching friends. Join Metro this week and learn how to identify the countless waterfowl you'll see this fall. If ducks ruffle your feathers, consider touring Metro's beautiful Chehalem Ridge or volunteering at the natural plant center. The best part is, most of the events are low-cost or free, and registration can be completed online.
